    To me, it seems like he was looking for sexualised teens, definitely not children. There are 15-year-old girls who appear a lot older in terms of their physical development and how they dress etc. Big difference between that and a small girl playing hopscotch. A guy who fancies a sexily dressed 15-year-old girl with big boobs and sultry make-up/clothes is not a paedophile. The attractiveness of this girl is not that she's childlike - because obviously she isn't. It's her "womanliness" and I suppose the illicit thrill due to the fact that she's so young.

    Dudess those type of girls are called "jailbait". It's possible this is what the OP's boyfriend likes. If he is unaware of that term that might be the reason he was using "very young girls" etc. as his search words.

    (Note: it's safe enough to search for "jailbait". There isn't any nudity.)

    OP just note how on this (thankfully anonymous) thread, your suspicion was enough to convince some that your OH is a paedophile. It's worth reflecting on the (potential) damage that suspicion and speculation can cause to loved ones, and what love actually means to you.

    You're being weirdly OTT in defending this guy if you think -

    "teenies" and "very young girls" have nothing to do with "very young girls", and that he's as innocent as a Doctor who specialises in Children's medical issues.

    Strange.

    Do you search for "teenies" and "very young girls"? Serious question. If not, why not?

    On the internet, 'girl' is everything below grannies. You'd know that if you'd ever spent a day in your life. While it looks bad, I would say he is looking for the fresh out of high school girls like around the 18 mark imo.     It is illegal to look at girls on the internet that are 15 as it is to sleep with them in real life. My point is that everyone has there own opinion as to what "very young girls" means. It obviously made the OP suspect her OH. I don't think she should be critiscised for having a completely normal reaction.

    It is indeed illegal but not paedophilic - because voluptuous, sexualised 15-year-olds are womanly, not childlike. As I said, it would be paedophilic if he was looking up small girls who should be playing with skipping ropes.

    Actually no, it's normal for a man to fancy a 15-year-old girl who's really sexualised and voluptuous - i.e. a 15-year-old girl who looks more like a woman than a child. And there are plenty of them. The idea of it is not appealing, but it's a reality. The law is there for a reason.
    Now if a guy fancied an under-developed, scrawny 15-year-old who looked about 11 then yes, that would be weird.

    interestingly, the legal age for pornography is 18, whereas in many countries, including this one, the age of consent falls under the age of 18. I believe in most of the United states the age of consent is ~15/16. In many countries 14.

He even said that some search he did brought up an image of an anorexic that nearly made him sick so it's mainstream pornsites (if there's such a thing! like redtube) from here on on, no more googling..

    Congratulations. If you were my girlfriend, i'd break up with you for thinking I'm a pedophile. I know all sorts of people whether they be judges, doctors or binmen get caught for child pornography...but because he typed in that saying and you thought what you did has to surely make him think your simply fuc$ed in the head...because that is what I would be thinking and i'd be saying Adios to you...

    Eh, no I don't think so. Peadophilia is an attraction to the pre-pubescent and girls of 17-18 are hardly pre-pubescent. Looking at girls in their late teens is completely different than looking at little girls.
