    First line out lost :(

FFS is Murphy playing full back or Kearney? Murphy featuring in our few seconds of attack but Kearney hoovering up the ball at the back!

    Camera work is dire!!

That try welcome but totally against the run of play. How long before Scotland get one back - 3 mins?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,727 ✭✭✭✭Sherifu

Well after a shaky start, that's much better from Ireland, great ball retention and hard yards let Wallace in under the post. 7-0

    theres another try from kearney

Okay not a try but a score all the same. Within 60 seconds. Why do we ALWAYS gift the other team a score after we score.

Miracle, another try. O'Driscoll actually running - miracles do happen!

    THAT's the Ireland I know :D

Great pass by BOD - nice catch from Murphy

Ffs Murphy, chip 'n chase!! Instead he tries to pass to Hayes

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,181 ✭✭✭✭Jim

Amazing throw on the second try.

O'Driscoll's best move of the 6 nations so far - vintage stuff!

Was Hayes his fault he should know by know that rugby involves catching the ball and thats why he ll never be recognised as a great prop because he is has no other aspect to his game then scrummaging

referee showing his inexperience, keeps getting in the way!

Hallelujah - bloody Jackman, bloody useless. Why oh why will they put him back on?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 373 ✭✭The1337_Stephen

Nearly another try there, Ireland are really picking up,

    And here comes BEST!!!!

    GTFO Jackman

Edit: only a blood sub, how sh*t

Please let him stay off - the lineout so much better already!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 9,287 ✭✭✭davyjose

Jesus lads, he missed a few line-outs in the half - give him a break. Best is hardly the "best" himself.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 373 ✭✭The1337_Stephen

His lineout was clearly alot better then any of Jackmans there, i never rated Jackman well anyway, Best is just.... better in my opinion

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,882 ✭✭✭Diamondmaker

whay hay, managed to get a live stream, watching this in Boxers and wife beater from my baclony.

    Worth staying up for!

Murphy in he thick of things and Bests cameo nails his line out, Jack is looking poor with the throws.

Oh God, since when have they started playing diddly Irish trad music whenever we kick a penalty. Pretty sure there was none of it at the Italy game?

    ROG popped another over, 22-6.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 13,420 ✭✭✭✭athtrasna

Caught napping there! Where's the fb?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 9,287 ✭✭✭davyjose

i never rated Jackman well anyway,
His all-round play, or just his line-out. Because to be honest, apart from hardly having played this last few months, Best is crap anyway

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,727 ✭✭✭✭Sherifu

Wtf happened there? Webster.... oh noes!

    Scotland gifted a try, 22-13

Edit: Jackmans lineouts are abyssmal, i've been saying it for awhile, Ireland can handle themselves in open play but need someone like best who can throw a good lineout, regardless of his open play

PAUL O' CONNELL ON FOR MICK O' DRISCOLL

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 13,420 ✭✭✭✭athtrasna

Has EOS finally changed his substitution policy? O'Connell welcome back!

Yay, Best on for rest of game!

Difference is, he's missed one, not like 7 :P

Wonderful - we're still giving away line-outs, only now we've got Best on the field

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 373 ✭✭The1337_Stephen

If Murphy doesn't start against Wales, then something is wrong.

It would be a crime, that debate is over. Superb, and all the stand out players the new blood. Finally we may have turned a corner....

His attacking today is spot on but his defensive play seriously lacking. With Bowe and Kearney both having stormers, where does Murphy fit in? He's not defending enough to play FB IMO

Like 7, not sure of exact number, Best threw another immaculate one there a sec ago, hes better with lineouts

    Ireland 29-13 (Boew Try)

He's directly responsible for 2 of the tries IMO. I don't think you can single him out defensively - what have Scotland done bar 1 try?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 373 ✭✭The1337_Stephen

Murphys catches from Garry Owens are excellent, he really should start against wales

O'Driscoll off, Heaslip off, Reddan off, Stringer on, Easterby on, Horgan on

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 13,420 ✭✭✭✭athtrasna

Is Heaslip injured? No other reason I can think of for bringing the pensioner on!

    Shaggy back...this will be interesting!
