€12 in a bar in paris.

Could have been worse. Next day, I went to a bar which was €18 a pint, but I'd made sure to ask the price before ordering.

Paris here again for about 9euro in some random cafe near the eiffel tower. A friend who used to live there told me that a pint could be had for as cheap as 3euro in quieter 'locals' type bars on the outskirts of the city

Got stung in a jazz bar in Paris. €12.50 for one pint of Kronenberg. It was damn tasty though even if it did last an hour and a half.

Lololol and there was Cormie only a few weeks ago trying to tell us how cheap France is compared to Dublin.

€18 for two 0.4l glasses of Kronenburg 1664 in gay Paris including a very measly tip.
View of the passing crowd (mainly hawt chicks) made it almost worth it though.

€25 for a bottle of Heineken in a bar in Germany. Turns out it wasn't a "bar" after all.

We were too drunk to notice the half-nekkid ladies sprawled around the place before we ordered. :o
We were also too drunk to argue with the rather large "security" men over the price. :o

Tis true. Not necessarily outskirts, even - just away from the obvious tourist traps. In general though, you're better off to steer away from beer...

I had a pint in there last year. I didn't realise it was as expensive as that, but it wasn't my round. I paid a lot less for the next round in whatever place it was.

Most expensive pint was £5.50 for one of those big heavy glasses (pint?) of Hoegaarden in the Castlefield area in Manchester. It was the first and last. Back onto the Guinness after that.

    He did.

I had a nice pint. He had a blue mouth

A pint of water would be more expensive in the big clubs! I lived their for a couple of months last summer and my mate and i used to by a big bottle of water and hide it before going in then skip outside everytime we were thirsty! F/uck paying 10 brick for a tiny bottle of water!

Yep Denmark is ridiculous. I paid close to that in an "Irish" pub there. Went to a quieter place after and got one for 2.50. Best place ever, you could write on the walls.

jaysus. Surely common sense would take over at that stage and you would pull off your shirt and say "here take the f*cking shirt off my back too while you're at it you c*nt".

    Or maybe not :pac:

But seriously...thats pulling the piss to extremes. Id probably walk out.

Remember once sitting down at an outdoor 'restaurant' at the middle of a ski slope in Tignes, France. I was parched so rocked up with my board still on and sat down. Ordered a Coke and the surly waiter promptly came out with a pint of splash Coke ( the cheap 20c a litre stuff McDonalds use ) and demanded 11 euro.

Luckily for me I still had my snowboard on, I stood up, told him where to stick his 11 euro and booted it down the hill. I gave him a wave every time I passed him at speed over the next few days. Very satisifying:D

Went on the Mojitos pretty quickly;)
