Introduction to Sailing - Galway Bay

    An introduction to sailing course for adults is being run at Galway Bay sailing. From their website:-
    The course is designed to introduce people to the growing sport of sailing and is targeted towards adults. It is run in an adult friendly way, and helps people make the transition from the water to the sea.

    The course consists of a number of on-the-water events, both dinghy and cruiser and some classroom instruction. March is given to talks in the clubhouse, but in April we venture out on the sea, in dinghies and in cruisers.

    The programme begins on March 5 in the clubhouse at Galway Bay Sailing Club (GBSC is located in Renville, Oranmore). There are three sessions in the club house on the following dates, beginning at 20:00 hours:

    * March 5
    * March 12
    * March 26
