A buck celebrating his last weekend of freedom now has more than his wedding to worry about after streaking at a country horseracing meeting.

The 31-year-old from the ACT was taken to the track at Moruya on the NSW south coast by 30 mates as part of his buck's party celebrations, and it appears matters quickly got out of hand.

By 1.30pm, the groom-to-be had apparently built up enough Dutch courage to strip down and give the thoroughbreds a run for their money.

His effort was caught by the course camera crew, and in an unfortunate coincidence the race caller remarked that one of the horses was showing "a ton of cheek" as they turned onto the straight.

The cheeky interloper came into shot seconds later, sprinting the last 50m before belly-flopping over the line — and being christened with the racing name Dead-Set Lunatic by the unflappable caller.

Batemans Bay police weren't impressed by his antics either: the man will attend local court to answer allegations of offensive conduct and is likely to be charged with trespassing.

The court date is set for March 17, so he can expect a quiet start to his St Patrick's Day … and a few extra jokes at his wedding

Personally I wouldn't but I'd definitely contribute to the fund for someone else to!

Xavi You may want to venture up to Ipswich in Queensland on the day of the Ipswich Cup races.

After the last race about 6-8+ blokes run the "nude gift" which pretty much explains iteself.

It has been a few years since I was at that event, so an afterthought is that its been curbed by this stage.. I was a time honoured tradition for a while.

I have streaked in the Phoenix Park late one night with my cousin who was over from Australia at the time. :eek:

We were both VERY drunk and from his point of view it was his first time being here since he was quite young and he wasn't quite sure when he'd be back again so it had to be done. He's such a bad feckin influence, lol.

i did it in a big square in Montpellier city centre on a Saturday night when i was hammered... splashing around in a fountain too then chasing after my mates who ran off with my clothes

but the whole 'incident' is captured on video by my mate in alarming clarity

i'd do it again though, i'd love to do it at the World Cup final or during the Olympics 100m sprint final alongside the sprinters

Wouldn't do it alone but would with a group (i'm female). I've gone skinny- dipping late at night a few times on a beach in Dublin...in the middle of Winter...usually locked on St. Stephen's Day. There's not enough of this type of random acts of madness about and who gives a damn what anyone thinks, if you're running fast enough, nobody can spot the cellulite, small willy etc. We could get something going on here......anyone up for it?

The streaker who was flattened by Australian cricketer Andrew Symonds has been fined $1500 for invading the pitch in Brisbane last night.

The court has decided not to record a permanent conviction against the 26-year-old man, who ran naked on to the field during the second one-day series final at the Gabba.

Queensland police said they were not investigating Symonds for knocking the man over.

Symonds was batting when the streaker ran on to the ground, passing close to the Australian all-rounder.

Symonds stepped towards the naked man as he ran past and used his shoulder to knock him off his feet.

A police spokesman said no complaints of assault had been received against Symonds, a keen rugby league fan.

"Police have not received a complaint against Andrew Symonds and are not investigating the matter further," the spokesman told AAP.

Cricket officials say Symonds will face no penalty over the incident.

He could have faced a fine or ban had the International Cricket Council decided he breached section 4.2 of the code of conduct relating to physical assault of a rival player, official or a spectator.
