I'd probably be getting valuable beauty sleep instead of watching Ross Kemp in Afghanistan on YouTube.

Turning my phone off would have its advantages and its disadvantages.

Disadvantage: I'd spend the whole time checking my phone only to be disappointed when i realised it was off.

Advantage: I wouldn't have to endure my mother's constant texts. In fact, without phones and internet, etc, I wouldn't have to deal with her constant questioning at all! But she would end up visiting me. (Even though it'd take a few hours.)

    Can we ban cars too?

Oh, another disadvantage: I wouldn't be able to contact my best friend who is living in France. :(

I'll keep the phone and the internet, thanks, but you can take the iPod. I'll just use my phone.

    In short, I'd be bored.

This was actually done in a PC mag I used to buy in the UK. It was done by one of the staff and they tried it for a week. Have a read here http://tinyurl.com/ypkoc9 Bit difficult to read, but interesting none the less!

Asleep, work, out socialising, out buying things, travelling...list is endless.

OP, im worried about your apparent dependence on tecvnology tbh

Edit, an afterthought - is it possible OP meant where would you be in the non-literal sense? In which case screwed sounds good. :)

I was actually thinking of trying something like this for a while to remind myself what it was like without having all the technological stuff I have at my disposal these days. Turn off the phone, avoid the interweb and tv and things like that. I don't even need to use any of this stuff for work since I'm one of those just out of college and hasn't got a job yet kinda people.

Then again I was also thinking of blind-folding myself for a week straight a while ago to see what it feels like to be blind.

    I really need a hobby.

Looks like you are like every other bloke http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showpost.php?p=55133578&postcount=34 :D

But it just goes to show how much we rely on technology and stuff if we can't think of anything sensible to do if we lost it. (Hang I lost it a long time ago!) :p

Thats two ****ing pointless threads so far.

Do you actually have anything to say or are you just trying to appear deep and insightful?

I'd probably be on the streets drinkin' drugs, up to no good, robbing from the rich and giving it to the poor so I could rob it off them too. Generally the world is better off when we have the Internet to satisfy our need to at least see someone doing something stupid.
