I posted it in another thread... but the acoustic version of Love Games is pretty damn awesome.

There are some excellent songs in radio series. I love 'Little Dear' and 'Monkey Stole My Face'

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,196 ✭✭✭Crumble Froo

how can you not love someone who smiles that much? :P

mine is the ice flow/tundra song, for a few reasons.
    1. that episode is my favourite, anything to do with it makes me all happy and excited.
    2. the human coca cola can. that is an awesome dance.
    3. the 'shrew' dance vince does when howard says 'check him out'. (damo, i think you were there the night in fibbers i kept doing that dance...)
    4. the line 'boosh, boosh, stronger than a moose'
    5. the line 'cos the boosh is loose and a little bit raw'

"Your video is no longer available"
    Got another for you:
    [edit]Bugger, same problem![/edit]

    My favourite is Eels! :D

Just because it's fantastic, the Hitcher plays a blinder in that episode (although his nose and chin look quite normal)
Also because I want one of those NuRave hitcher costumes :D

the one you posted is no longer available either

but yeah, eels would have been one of your first songs, was it?

The Chosen One is up fairly high on my list though. I love that little blue burk!

Nope, I started from episode 1 series 1, so Eels was one of the later songs, as it's series 3 episode 1

ah. it must have been fey so, that was into the eels song big time when he first got into it.

haha, me and a mate had an arguement about that. i thought it was hubbub of a nightmare, and she thought it was hubba bubba nightmare. but we were arguing about it, but wehn the other person said what they thought it was, we heard it as what we thought it was. it was weird. but fun.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,216 ✭✭✭✭monkeyfudge

    Definitely Hubba Bubba.

And it was Mighty Hawk, not Ork..!

We are searching for the new sound....

A toss up between New Sound and The Yeti Song for me at the moment. I think the New Sound is edging it out a bit in front at the moment though.

    Isolation is brilliant

Elements of the past and future, combining to make something not quite as good as either.

    :D

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,584 ✭✭✭c - 13

Actually now that I think of it the one that howard sings at the start of the fountain of youth is brilliant too, but its not a full song so I guess it doesnt count.

Time, is calling out my name ... [Howard]
Laying, the final pieces of his game ... [Chess]

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,196 ✭✭✭Crumble Froo

    Definitely Hubba Bubba.

And it was Mighty Hawk, not Ork..!

i still say ork was infinitely better.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 30,123 ✭✭✭✭Star Lord

Mighty Hawk is better, keeping with the shamanism!

It's Mighty Boosh, not LOTR! ;):p

I think I'm torn between Eels/Pie & Mash-Up and the Cockney Rap for a favourite, but they're all bloody good. Hell, even the music for the Season 3 ads was good...

Not technically a song but has music in it and it makes me happy every time I watch it.

Mine has to be the soup song...
''Soup, soup, a tasty, soup soup
    Carrot and Coriander,
    Chilli Chowder,
Crouton, Crouton, crunchy friends in a liquid broth
I am gazpachio, oh, I am a summer soup, oh!
Miso, miso! Fighting in the dojo, miso, miso!
Oriental prince in the land of soup!''
    Ahhhhh.... :D
Or else ''I did a **** on your Mum''

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 30,123 ✭✭✭✭Star Lord

    And she rather liked it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,196 ✭✭✭Crumble Froo

    Thats the **** right there
Another favourite- ''Bouncy Bouncy, shoes all in a line...''
    Or of course ''Eels''

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 70 ✭✭Cullilingus

Soup, super tasty soup, super spicy,
    Carrot and Coriander, Chilli Chowder
    Crouton, Crouton
Crunchy friends in a liquid broth!
I am Gaspacho, oh! I am a summer soup!
Meso, meso! fighting in the dojo!
Meso, meso! Oriental prince in the land of soup!

Calling it "crimping" killed it for me tho, it was far funnier when it was 2 lads bursting into songs about soup for no particular reason :/

i have the soup song as my text alert... i get so many weird looks in public places, and awkward explanations with other people.

i have the soup song as my text alert... i get so many weird looks in public places, and awkward explanations with other people.

I'd give you a wierd look too... it's really better suited as a ring tone...

How about Bolo saying "I've got a bad feeling about this" as a text alert? I might give that a go actually.

I'm starting get a bit sick of the Eels song as my alarm too at the moment.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,196 ✭✭✭Crumble Froo

i dont know how to make my alerts that short. i have this song...

note how it gives you 12 secs of background noise before launching into the song... set that to vibrate, and if you wake... you get a gentle waking... if not... well godammit, that's the happiest chorus i know.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,216 ✭✭✭✭monkeyfudge

I really should get my iPhone up and running again.. that had a nice gentle alarm sound that seemed to suit me.

I hit snooze like 20 times this morning with Eels.

Oh.. and just a heads up... I'll be doing a radio slot on Easter monday... I'll be sure to sneak some Boosh in there... it's a special Jazz theme day that we're doing.

I'll be playing all the greats... Charlie Parker, Miles Davis and maybe some Steve Davis by accident.
