April 18th will see The Dandy Warhols return to Ireland for a show at Vicar Street in Dublin. Coming two days before the release of their eighth album The Machine, the band are back in action following a break that saw them embark on various side projects. Tickets priced €29.50 are on sale now but we have three pairs to give away to State readers. To enter, just tell us the name of Courtney Taylor-Taylor’s recently published graphic novel and send your answer to giveaway@state.ie by 5pm on April 5th.

I had the same problem with a competition on that site last week, I'm avoiding movies.ie competitions for that reason.

Hold up all you need to do is log-in again, I have been using the site for almost a year and had no problems apart from it being slow, but that has been greatly improved recently. I think its a little glitch that sometimes you need to log in twice but it wouldnt put me off using the site. If you dont want a chance to win cinema tickets, DVDs and goodies then off you go, means I have a better chance of winning.

Sorry to hear theres been trouble with the competition, hopefully I can help.

To enter the competitions just log in with your user-name and password. You do need to validate your account through your email before it will let you sign in. If you haven't received an email check your spam folder.

PM me if you still can't log in, I'll be happy to help you, or mail us through the Movies.ie website. We've had 100's of entries so the competition is definitely working, Send on the error message if you're getting one, and your username.
