I have two vouchers for free Sky+ and free standard installation. Its the free sky for your friend promotion thingy. If anyone is interested PM me and I'll give you the reference and instructions etc.

what do they mean by "standard installation", what kind of installation could be classed as non-standard ?

Was about to sign up on the recommend a friend deal, but I'd much prefer this offer to the one with 2 months half-price that's being touted in the shops just now.

I've been told that if they check at all, they check within the first couple of weeks. I knew someone who used his parent's telephone number, then just swapped boxes with them for a couple of weeks and it worked ok - was advised to do this by the sky installer.

I have 2 invitations. I don't know about any terms and conditions or anything, as it's just a card sort of thing with a code but it says you have to pay 45 Euros for installation.

Just phoned in my order (thanks Cyclonius) - contrary to the OP, you have to pay for standard installation. The Sky+ box is free, for both the existing and new customers.

guys i am already a sky customer and i would love the sky+ box ..i don't have a phoneline is there anyway i can get it in then?
i have a friend who will be moving into a new home soon and wants to get in the sky so can i register for this scheme before she moves and then give her the code?

It's only fair that new customers get to PM for the codes but if anyone has a spare code that, as an existing Sky user, I can use to give to someone else here I'd be grateful.

I imagine that I'll get a code through the post like other people eventually? Or have I misunderstood this whole thing?

Actually I'm in the same boat, I'm an existing Sky customer and was looking for a voucher that I could pass on to someone else to sign up with. Sorry for any confusion for those that PM'd me.

I was holding vouchers for people who never bothered pm'ing me back, two days is long enough, so I have some available again (for new subscribers, as I want a sky+ box too!)

I can offer the same promotion. I dont have any codes though, we gotta call with your account number and I think they call you and sort it out that way.
