Phose who suffer from aichmophobia, or a fear of needles or pointed objects, should take note. Pantec Biosolutions has you in mind and has developed P.L.E.A.S.E., a painless laser epidermal system used to deliver drugs, medications and vaccines without a needle, directly through the skin.

The handheld device is held onto the skin and the rest is magic, or it seems. P.L.E.A.S.E. works by creating aqueous micropore in the epidermis to deliver the high molecular weight medication. Its future uses include pain control, diabetes management and in vitro fertilization. I don't mind needles, but for some that I know, especially the kiddos, this could be a lifesaver
