Thought it was about time I created an appreciation thread.

Started lurking about here around easter time, weighing in at 19stone 12lb's, never weighed myself until boxing day after reading here at least once or twice a week and following the avice. On boxing day I jumped on the scales and was rather shock to find I now weighed in at 14stone 10lb's!!

So thanks folks, thats over 5 stone I shant be missing, havent weighed myself since, but I'm confident I've lost another wee bit, despite my leniency over christmas, also added considerable muscle mass, and am stronger and healthier than ever, and have noticed I've had progressively more energy the more my fitness improved.

    Special thanks to:
    G'em - Nutrition guru, helped a bunch.
Hanley - Train simple, work hard.

    Good stuff mate!

It's nice to think that something as simple as an open forum where people waste the working hours could help someone like that!

    Keep up the good work!

I'm absolutely delighted to hear such wonderful news!!! There's a thread in feedback right now about how boards.ie has made a positive impact on people's lives, and stories like this just prove it.

That's a phenomenal acheivement Pugsley and keep up the fantastic work. I'm reasonably confident yours is just one of many success stories we have on the board, and I never tire of hearing them!

Dont actually have a camera, unusually, so the only pics that exsist of me are usually at gigs/pubs/festivals, and are mostly fairly embarassing :o

Excellent work man, you're an inspiration to everyone for proving weight goals can be achieved!

It's a pity ya didn't take pictures though, but ya should still start doing so anyway, best of luck.
