Running Trouble

I've recently started road running (nothing too advanced at the moment, just 10k's mainly) and have been having trouble with the soles of my feet being sore for pretty much the entire run, from start to finish. They're fine afterwards, it's just when I'm running that it's pretty painful. I kind of think that this is just something you get used to over time, or that possibly goes away with practice, but I thought I'd ask you guys for your more learned opinions. Am I possibly wearing the wrong shoes or is there some other potential problem?

what shoes are you wearing? Are they the correct one's for you? What socks are you wearing? How heavy are you? What is your gait like?....... There are about a zillion factors to take into account I'm afraid. Getting fitted for good shoes is a useful place to start though.

You might want to look at your running technique. Lot of information over at www.posetech.com

And a very good place to go is in Bray, www.amphibianking.com

I got mine there and many other happy customers have recommended them on boards. They take videos of you running and do gait analysis. I got to try on loads of pairs and was even let out for a run in the carpark.

You may have some planter fasciitis (Not sure of spelling). I have it and can't run on the road at all as a result
