    Sportslink?

Most gyms will let you pay for around 10e a day...

Yeah the gym in Finglas is pay as you go. It's council run and there are 3, 6 & 12 month memberships if your a big gym goer.

Actually the council gym in Ballymun is much bigger and have a much better selection of free weights, benches and space. Such def try there, I was well impressed for what I expected.

Alsaa near the airport lets you pay as you use.
There might be a annual subscription fee though

I am a member of Sportslink, there are a few different membership packages, the one I am on is a family one I think it costs about 150 euro to join but thats me the wife and 3 young kids.We have to pay a couple of euro every time we go up,its a great deal and well worth it.They also have a flat fee of 750 for the year which is for a whole family thats super in my book.

I'm living in Santry, but Image Gym in Swords ain't far away and is €7 a pop, or €65 for a yearly membership and €10 per week. Good deal.

Check the link Pen1987, it's €65 per year alright buuuttttt €10 extra on weeks you use it.

    Very strange and possibly sly.
I'd prefer to know about all fees and charges upfront

    Yeah, but if you read all the way down the prices page you'd see;

    Up Front Membership Available

    3 months: €110
    6 months: €200
    1yr: €380
(no additional payments to be made)

Pretty bloody sweet deal. Looks like a good gym. AND it said on the 'site that with the equipment they have squatting and deadlifting can be performed effectively.

If I was living in Swords and unable to get to Hercs I'd probably be training there.

Whoops, I withdraw my comment about their pricing plan being sly, I never read the entire page :o.
    Thanks Hanley.

You can't go too far wrong €380 per year.

Nothing sly about Image. It's just a real gym with real people running it. I heard someone complain about it being small which made me just slap my head in frustration! It's smaller than a JS or TF but you also get to meet the real actual owner when you walk in the door, you're not given a hard sell and it has everything you need.

I was a member there for a while before training took me elsewhere and was always impressed.
