Trying to get lynx (text web browser) working... bit of help

Hey folks,

I'm trying to get lynx working but getting an error.

I downloaded the file from here: http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/unix_open_source/lynxtextwebbrowser.html

Followed the instructions in the read me and it appears to install fine. But when I try to launch it I get the following error:

dyld: Library not loaded: /usr/local/lib/libssl.0.9.8.dylib
Referenced from: /usr/bin/lynx
Reason: image not found
Trace/BPT trap


On the Apple website it says that the minimum requirement is OSX 10.5.1, but I'm on 10.4.11... If I go to Software Update it doesn't give the option for any more updates for OSX

Any clues?

Don't you have to pay to go from 10.4 (Tiger) to 10.5 (Leopard)?

Download macports and get it through that. It will work.
