Not in my experience. It is horribly busy 5-8pm though.
Also i quit the gym because of the chlorine fumes. If you dislike chlorine having a pool in the middle of the gym is unpleasant.
The National aquatic centre nearbye has a worse weight section but a better pool, and it has slides.
