You get to invite 10 famous people to a dinner party, who would you chose? They have to be alive though, everytime this conversation comes up people always pick dead people.

Well harbison is a lovely man met him a few times, also attended his talks plus in my line of work I find some of the forensic stuff fascinating, Bill Bass is the man who founded the first Body farm.
I'd pick Harbison over Cassidy, obviously before he got sick, after meeting both of them he's a lot nicer.
Oh and as my 10th guest it has to be Will Ferrell.

Meh, not all of them, I just think shes just not a very warm person, which is not a bad thing. I think thats why they're doing the series on her now, to up her public profile as much as his (although her doing that program makes me dislike her a little bit), he was loved by 99.9999% of people he encountered and I think people judge her by hs standards, but they shouldn't.

Don't think the programme was a great idea for her, she isn't coming across as well as she could? Though I still believe what I said about female doctors!!

Great idea, must have a think who my selected 10 would be.

Looking at some of the lists, I'm thinking "why?" to some of the guests, so i think it would be a great idea to say why they are choosing the selected 10. Would make for a better read and give a great insight into what the dinner party would be like and the topics of conversation. Just a thought.

Kevin Smith- because i love his art and his kickass films. i'd like to discuss with him where he thinks comics are going.

Johnny Depp- to see if he's as full of crap as he seems or not and to create a bit of tension.

Tom Cruise- to see if he's really mental and always so intense

Tim Burton- to see if he is in love with johnny or not

Terry Gillam- so creative... plus i'd like to convince him to do a film with Neil Gaiman's Sandman comic book series

emmm... im a huge music nut, and i think just about all of them are music related, but anyway...


oh, and most of them aren't really all that young here, either. most are in their 30s, some a little below, some a good bit above... but it's really just a music thing, i think.

chris cornell - lead singer in 90s band Soundgarden, supergroup Audioslave, kinda tribute group Temple of the Dog, and has a couple of solo albums himself. did the song for the lastest Bond film.
brandon boyd - lead singer of the band incubus.
noel fielding - actor and comedian, mostly famous for The Mighty Boosh (see my sig)...
guy garvey - singer/songwriter for the manchester indie band Elbow. the dude is amazing.
duff mckagen - was the bassist for guns n roses, but he, along with the other g'n'r musicians went on to form a 'supergroup' with stone temple pilots' lead man, scott weiland as singer, in velvet revolver.
timmy comerford - bassist from Rage Against The Machine back in their day, and then for Audioslave.
mike shinoda - singer/songwriter with Linkin Park. i used to be a huge fan, and those songs got me through tonnes.
jeff martin - canadian singer from the former band 'The Tea Party', now does solo work and lives in cork.
corin tucker - singer/songwriter from the all female band 'Sleater-Kinney'. Awesome voice, lyrics, guitar.
serj tankian - singer from the band System of a Down, also has is own solo projects and record label.
