Does anyone use the new nike+ and ipod for their fitness training?

i hear it tells you how many miles you have run, time per mile and calories burnt.

Just ordered one.. and it's at home waiting for me now!

Will tell you how I get on.
Got the runners down in Kildare Shopping Village for €70, they seem good so far. I usually use Asics, but thought I'd give these a go.

Yes, I have been using it the past four months, its excellent for tracking your times and distances and seeing how far you have come

Ok basically its a little chip thing that goes into your shoe like a paedometre. That info goes to your ipod, and then to itunes when you connect your ipod to your PC. This info then goes from itunes to nikeplus.com and lays it all out very nicely, see here http://nikeplus.nike.com/nikeplus/

You can also set up goals and challenges for yourself.

Oh and when you make a new record an array of sport stars congratulate you when you end your work out.

"this is lance armstrong, you have just made a new personal best for a mile"

    Hehehe :D

for anyone who doesn't want to shell out on a new nike+ pair of shoes there are a couple of other options you can use to 'attach' the sensor to your current trainers over at this site:
Nike+iPod Shoe Hack and Sensor Accessory Round-Up

i use the nokia sports tracker for tracking hikes, but other people use it for running (and other sports):
