If they are happy to show them then I am hapy to look. For a man its like putting up a sign outside your shop that says 'Free cold beer' and then saying when I get in 'What the hell do you want there is no free beer here'.

In my experience..what little i have of it

    a quick glance is ok

if you stare and/or droll then no

What about glancing multiple times during the same conversation?

    What about a lengthy glance?

O man, I was in the gym in Clontarf on Friday and this girl came over to me to ask how to use a machine(I could tell it was her 1stish time). OMG! She was un ****ing real, Irish with brown hair, great face and an unreal body. I nearly had to cover my shorts lol. Did anyone else see her there on Friday? Around the dumb bells area. If she was Asian I probably would of climaxed right there and then LOL

commenting would be another no-no....now thatd make you uncomdortable....unless you had them on show and wanted the attention

Surely pointing at the floor and saying that would be better?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 34,216 ✭✭✭✭listermint

    Floor, yes thats much better:D

They all want you to look, hence why they wear that stuff in the first place.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 5,122 ✭✭✭LadyJ

Have to say, (as a straight woman I might add) that if women are wearing low cut tops, I sometimes have a glance. It draws in the eye tbh. If someone is wearing all black and a big red ribbon around their waist then there goes my gaze again!

It's rude to stare I guess but sometimes it's impossible not to at least look.

I don't know why it'd be a big issue, men can't help looking and women know that men have to have a quick glance, it's sort of like yawning when you hear the word YAWN***

    ***You're all yawning now aren't you :D:D:D

make a note of the girl's eye colour. For some reason, it's the first thing they ask and if she does, you can take the oppertunity to comment on how said colour matches her dress.

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 9,273 ✭✭✭Morlar

staring is ok and healthy - requesting a 'jiggle' will get you a meeting with the HR dept though.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 25,243 ✭✭✭✭Jesus Wept

She had a low cut top for a reason. Have a look. *shrug.

If I want to be their gay best friend, I'll try that.

The trick is to make a joke out of it. The first thing you should say to a friend who's showing off her assets is something along the lines of "How the hell am I supposed to get any work done today with those bad-boys dancing in front of me?"
I find that you can get away with all sorts of behavious if you just poke fun at the situation.

Is drooling and saying Jesus Christ every couple of seconds an acceptable response?

I heard that the women in hr are known for their jiggling abilities. They practice it in synch when no ones around too - so if you ask nicely it might work out.

They won't show you no matter what as all woman in HR are celibate.

Never really paid much attention to them (breasts) myself but I suppose when you think about it women who think their legs are ugly will never wear skirts or shorts as they don't want them to be seen (sound enough logic), so if a woman wears a skirt she thinks she has good legs and wants them to be seen/noticed & perhaps complimented. So how is it suddenly different when it's their breasts that they are leaving in view?

If one of us lads was to wear shorts and leave our "little fella" hanging out one of the legs would we be able to complain that people glance/stare at it?

yes, but as we all know there are no wimmens on the internet, so we've got to pick up the slack.
Can't have the OP feeling down because his thread got zero replies, can we.

I think most women welcome an appreciative glance. None like having to ask a guy to raise his eyes to her face because he's directing his conversation at her boobs! It's a question of manners really.

And considering the theme of the thread certain photographic evidence would undoubtedly be required of any "woman" who posts in the thread and claims to be a woman. This is AH afterall....

What are the female views re: unsolicited motor-boating? If I just dive right in there without asking, will you mind?

This question does not apply to the surf-boards out there.

If a girl's wearing a low cut top she has no right to complain if someone checks out her tits

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 515 ✭✭✭St Bill

That 'If she's wearing a low cut top, then I'm allowed to stare' line doesn't wash with me. I think you're trying to convince yourselves you're not dirty old men.
It's bad manners to stare full stop because the other person could feel uncomfortable, regardless of whether you're staring at boobs, someone's skin-colour, a birthmark, a mole, their wheel-chair etc.
There's no harm in having a look, just do it with a bit of class. Everyone's a winner!*

I was out for tea with a guy, as friends, and I wasn't wearing a very low cut top, but he did keep looking, I guess it can't be helped. In fairness - if there's someone with visible cleavage - even catches girls eyes.
Doesn't particularly bother me, unless its leering or something
