    Hi,
as part of my new year fitness plan I want to incl skipping as part of my weekly work-out.
I currently cycle 2 times a week and weights 2 times a week.

I don't need any counters or any of that stuff but after searching forums - a speed rope seems to be what I am looking for.

Can anyone give me a brand/shop where I can get one (9/10ft). or ebay ??
Soo many on ebay - it's hard to pick a decent one.

    Thanks

    K

Go into Mullen Sports on the corner of Capel and Mary street and ask for a speed rope, they'll have cable ones there although you can get decent enough leather speed ropes too. Should be about €10-€15

No brands really. Leather is okay but make sure its a speed rope. Cable is your best bet.

Go for the Henry Cooper speed rope from Mullen's. It's rapid. Literally and figuratively.

I picked one up in lidl last week for seven quid. 3 year guarantee and it's fast.

Seen an Everlast 9.5 foot leather one in TK Maxx today.

Sorry didn't get the price but being TK Maxx its probably good value.
