After a long break from weight training which lasted a number of years,I am now looking to get back into it and hopefully be alot more serious about it this time around.Im looking to start off with the rippletoes strength programme.
Those who are using this programme are often bulking and therefore eating a ****load to become bigger and alternating between workout A and B every second day.My question is:

Should I be consuming the same amount of calories AND protein each and EVERDAY even though I am only working out every second day?

I would imagine so, muscle is rebuilt between workouts, and you need to feed the muscle then.

Of course, you could always just ask him here. (might even have been addressed already)

What's the goal of doing it?

If it's too drop some fat, then just eat less kcals everyday. If it's to build muscle eat more everyday. Try not to over complicate things. The more of a license you give yourself to do that the greater the chances are you won't be successful. Just pick one or the other and stick to it.

I've always found my greatest muscle growth to come after periods of kcal restriction.

building muscle is the goal.So basically just stick to the same no. of kcal's and protein everyday,i.e a ****load?

Pretty much... If you start to get TOO fat (what's acceptable is an individual thing) then just lower them down a bit. All this "clean" bulking is really inefficent imo. If you're able to keep your bodyfat below 16-18% when you're "bulking" then it's clean enough.
