Recipe books without nearly every meal having garlic

I have gourmet nutrition and some of the recipes are lovely. I have tried a few of the ones with garlic and don't like any of them. I don't really like garlic.

Can anyone recommend any books with bodybuilding recipes that are'nt all garlic? I'm actually looking into maybe getting gordon ramsay's f word book.

    Cheers.

You could probably get away with just leaving the garlic out of some of them or substituting it with something else that you do do like...

yeah, just omit it. As long as there is some other decent flavourings it should be fine. Recipies are not set in stone, add and subtract from them. Garlic really adds nothing but flavour. Other ingredients might be adding colour, texture, thickening, thinning etc. If you go to aisian shops you can get spices really cheap. Mixed herbs can be added to a lot of dishes for a nice taste.

Ok. I was'nt sure if I could omit it. I tend to be very careful about following recipes incase I ruin the whole thing and have to dump the food which has happened before.

That US book you have might have odd ingredients, just different names from here. Or stuff that can be substitiuted, like pasta for couscous in that other thread. If you have a question you can always post the recipie before making it and ask for suggestions. The recipies are made to the writers taste. I usually add more or less stuff, depending on what I like.

However some stuff is critical, like a cake recipie, you need the right ratios otherwise the cake will not rise. Or pastry recipies. but if you have a cake recipie that says 100g blackberries, you could subsitiute 100g strawberries if you prefer. And spices usually can be omitted or added at will. I regard garlic in the same way as spices.

I might try pasta with moroccan chicken so in the future. It might be nicer. I just ordered gordan ramsays fast food aswell.
