Game is five minutes old and it has been pretty frantic.

I can see a high scoring game. Both teams appear to be here to entertain!

That penalty appeared to go straight across the front of the posts. I don't think it went over!

Edinburgh aren't pulling off the miracle match anyway...10-0 down already!

    🤪

Two tries in as many minutes for Leicester. Poor defence.

I have never seen so many line breaks in such a short period of time.

    15 - 6 to Leicester.

Disgraceful. Three punches to the head, and a yellow card? What do you have to do to get a red card?

Why the Leicster lad wasnt sent off there...disgrace. I know O' Kelly was on the wrong side, but thats woeful. Big ban coming for White now!

How did that scumbag not get a red card.

    Good haymaker though

O' Kelly barely blinked by the look of it.

Greenwood tried to defend the high tackle, saying he slid up. Then it showed the replay. Got to be a yellow.

    Exactly. Good reaction by him.

And now a high tackle by Goode, that wasnt the worst, but he went back for BOD after it. And number 4 threw a punch aswell. Goode gone for 10 aswell.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,160 ✭✭✭randomer

Earlier I noticed Goode grabbing D'Arcy by the neck in after he had been tackled. He did it to someone else too. No need for that.

Ths is turning into a free for all.

O'Kelly is tough. He got caught clean on the head a few times and stood up to it. Total respect! Can you imagine the theatrics if that happened to Ronaldo in the football?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,160 ✭✭✭randomer

If we are lucky, it might turn into a 7 a side game fairly soon!

    15 - 3 to Toulouse.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,160 ✭✭✭randomer

I have a prediction. I think there is going to be a headbutt and red card before the end of the game.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,160 ✭✭✭randomer

Somebody grabbed Le Roux by the face there. Camera went off straight away. Would like to see the replay.

Put money on it, although I'm sure odds are slashed by now!

Half time. Score still 15 - 6 to Leicester.

Interesting to hear what sky think about the yellow cards.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,506 ✭✭✭Jackz

Ahhhh Rubbish go to the backs if the forwards can't convert against 13 men.

1 should've been red, the other was a deserved yellow i'm sure they'll agree

Typical white, Scumbag!! how he stayed on the pitch is beyond me three ****ing punches he threw.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,249 ✭✭✭Stev_o

Leinster are RUBBISH i mean for the life of me i cant understand against 13 men why would you stick it in the forwards??? Makes no sense!

Let this be a note to all those Fitz hypers that he is EXTREMELY unstable in defence Varndell brushed him off with no bother and then he cant he cover to attempt tackling Deacon

If Leinster get a try early in the 2nd, it'll be game on.

BBC sport take on the punch

1620: I've just seen the Julien White incident again on TV. That was the best/worst punch I have ever seen on a rugby pitch, it was real Floyd Mayweather stuff. Incredibly O'Kelly stayed on his feet.

Second half has been very dull so far.

    Contepomi misses the penalty.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,160 ✭✭✭randomer

Easterbuy and Keogh replaced by Gleeson and Keane.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,160 ✭✭✭randomer

Has to be a penalty and yellow card. That is disgraceful.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,160 ✭✭✭randomer

Thats a professional foul. Contepomi gets the kick 15 - 9.

Made of granite I know and if Ronaldo got that punch from Julian White his jaw would be in be pieces.

Great run from Keane, then the pass let down Le Roux!

Toulouse extend their lead over Edinburgh making things difficult for Leinster to get out of the group now.

Something really must be done about teams spoiling the competition by playing understrength sides. Has Leinster and cause for an appeal to the ERC about Edinburgh?

Ah for **** sake Kearney nearly in for a try there - pass was to high and wasn't completed. Kearney would have had a run in.

Can someone explain why Varndell's ball-slap was a professional foul?

    Eh...no.

Teams have 6 games to qualify, Leinster simply don't deserve it. Even forgetting that, Leinster would have to win today regardless and yet.....

However, something does have to be done about a bunch of strong teams being drawn in 1/2 groups.

    🤪

No, not at all. It's not up to Edinburgh to get us through! The loss in Murrayfield (amongst others) is the reason we're out, not because of Edinburgh putting out a second-string side.

You can't deliberately throw or slap a ball into touch. Varndell could easily have run it out, making it a stupid mistake as well as an offence.

Looks like another try to Leicester. I think the TMO will give it.

I agree. I think some level of seeding would be a good solution.

And thats the game. 25 - 9 to Leicester. Another heineken cup campaign comes to a premature end.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 499 ✭✭Beanmachine

well it was at an end after the loss to Edinburgh tbh. Edinburgh were just not going to do it agaisnt Toulouse away.

Leinster completely outclassed today not one player bettered their Leicester counterpart. Just wondering what people think now about the Murphy Dempsey situation after today? Murphy out did him throughout the match while Dempsey did feck all

yeah geordan murphy was brilliant today and dempsey wasnt great.whats the bets eddie will still pick dempsey in 6 nations?

kearney was class when he kicked the ball under pressure not far from his own line and followed it up and blocked it down in leicesters 22
