Protein Shakes

    he would protein shakes constitute a meal ???

    i mean if i have breakfast , dinner , tea and have 2 protein shakes , 1 in morning and 1 in afternoon would that be good fo weight loss ???

    or instead of shakes would a tin of tuna be good

    well without excercising,the protein shake is not going to do anything by itself except come out the other side

    no im exercising 4 days a week , mon-wed-fri and sat doing 30 mins weights and 20 mins high intensity interval training

    so would it be ok

    Depends on the shake but i think 30g of whey mixed with water for example is only around 104kcal maybe if you mixed it with milk it would be higher, i'd consider it a snack tbh rather than a meal.

    A tin of tuna is a good option too, really it comes down to how easy it is for you to get your meals into you. I take a shake in the morning and add some raw veg to the meal but in the afternoon try to get real food going.

    It will help with weightloss if the rest of your diet is in order
