Warning for the Ladies

Just after Christmas I had to take quite a long taxi drive. The driver was a really nice chap who told me a story which HORRIFIED ME. A friend of his (also a taxi driver) has a daughter in her 20s. Just prior to Christmas she was in town and got lost from her friends. It was around 4am and she was trying to get a taxi near the Mercantile in Dublin city centre. She found a taxi with a black taxi driver so she told him through the window where she was heading to. He said no problem but she had to sit in the front. She told him she would prefer to sit in the back but he opened the front door and was adamant she sit in the front. She leaned in to the car to confront him, half in/half out of the car beginning to remonstrate with him that she only wanted to sit in the back seat when out of the corner of her eye she saw something in the back seat. Lo and behold the taxi driver's mate was crouched down out of site in the back of the car. Goodness only knows what might have happened had she not noticed. Be careful ladies.

A black taxi driver dropped me home the other night, I hadn't enough money to pay the whole fair but he insisted on driving me to a place where I could walk home from safely. He was probably the nicest taxi driver I've ever had.

JC 2K3 I dont think the OP was making an issue out of this mans colour but just highlighting what he looked like as to warn her fellow boardsters that if a taxi man who is black insists on you sitting in the front then dont do it.Dont get in the cab.

And also never split up from your friends was another moaral of her post.

So a "White" taxi driver told you a friend of a friend story about a "Black" taxi driver so obviously it must be true, sure apparently the "black" taxi driver wasn't only stealing our jobs but now want to steal us women too :rolleyes:
