    This is working
    http://www.bookryanair.com/skylights...de=FREEFLIGHTS

    Taken off www.hotukdeals.com

Good offer booked 2 flights to UK for 1 cent each including booking, credit card and taxes.

Doesn't seem to work but if you go to ryanair.com and click on the buy one get one free
then try any booking code if you flown with Ryanair in the past (6 letters worked for me)
    and it works.

    Here's the page and link.

Not if you click on the link above, you won't.

The link is working but is useless unless you have half day to check every possible flight. I couldn't find nothing for the 10 minutes. :D

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 449 ✭✭Smokeyskelton

Using the link, for every date and destination I have put in it says there are no flights available. This is most unlikely, as I have tried many combinations.

    What's the story?

    one question -
can i book 1 ticket for me and book the free ticket for my wife?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,632 ✭✭✭✭okidoki987

I booked a couple this morning.
Would saw it's going to be very very heavily booked as people find out about it via emails, i/net, boards ;) etc.
If u go to the Ryanair website there is a link to find out how many flights are available.
Monday to Thursday and Saturday, cheap day return flight to Glasgow,
    London etc

Never seen a €12 charge, but each return flight will be €6 CC charge. Possibly they charge that per person (which is scabby if they do, since it's still only one booking with two passengers. But then it's Ryanair, scabby is what they do ;))

Although there's not great choice of destinations from Irish airports, remember you can do combinations, so say, book a free flight Dub-Stansted, and then book Stansted-somewhere more exciting. Yes, you'll pay twice the CC charge, but if you're getting to Valencia for €12, do you really have much to complain about? :D

My only problem is I don't have enough annual leave to cover a couple of random 3-day trips :(

No, to get rid of that €6 thing you have to check/uncheck the little priority boarding box immediately below.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,632 ✭✭✭✭okidoki987

    There's no credit card charge.
you must have done something wrong as nobody I know who's booked these flights has paid any more then 1 cent per flight inclusive of all charges.

Click on 0 bags and then priority booking = NO charge.
It's 6 Euro if you don't use prioity booking i.e. check in at the airport.

Yes, it's bizarre because I've managed it before on the last offer. Would be very handy to get for the mother, her dad is sick in hospital so travelling back and forth alot lately.

I'm getting 12euro handling fee for a credit card too. It doesn't say it explicitly, you have to click on the blue text 'click here for handling fees' next to the total price at the checkout stage, where you select your card type.

I have just made 2 return bookings for 3 people. On each booking I was charged a total of 6c, make sure you opt for 'online' check-in. I used my credit card.

    Day trip to Cork.
Day trip to London for another one, the train fares will be biggest cost :-)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 849 ✭✭✭Cr8or

The 12 euro charge wasnt on my confirmation but it did have the blue text 'click here for handling fees'.. maybe they have been dropped for this promo?

Still a cheap flight if they do charge me 12 quid!

all children need their own passport if travelling abroad, except for the UK, but Ryanair may still require that they have their own photo ID (which would have to be a passport unless you can find some way of getting them a driving license...)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 667 ✭✭✭spongbob

    :) lol @ drivers licence....

im heading out end of feb, wasn't charged anything extra for the mastercard... it was 10 each way for the baby tho. + 1 bag @ 18

    looking forward to it now

    cheers op!!

Important thing to remeber if you have online/priority checkin for Ryanair flights to the UK / Scotland.
YOU MUST bring your passport to get through the gate and onto the plane, a driving license etc is NOT acceptable .A mate of mate has been stung with this , it does say it on the terms and conditions and he was not allowed on his flight because no passport with him.If you are checking in at the desk at the airport , you only need a drivers license etc i think.
Just to give you all a heads up and to enjoy the cheap trips

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 644 ✭✭✭Jeanious

so has anyone actually got FREE flights, or are they chargin everyone 1c each way? Just askin cos i aint got a credit card and it wants one. Presume thats some way of tracing customers or somethin is it?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,632 ✭✭✭✭okidoki987

If you are checking in at the desk at the airport , you only need a drivers license

    All correct.
If you do the priority booking booking and therefore saving €3 and a queue,
you need a passport which they scan at security.

so has anyone actually got FREE flights, or are they chargin everyone 1c each way? Just askin cos i aint got a credit card and it wants one.

I'd say that's to stop people abusing the offer i.e. if it was FREE totally,
you could book all the seats yourself and never show up.

NO NO NO. It's 2Cent total price - no credit card charges etc are added. The only thing added is for luggage you check in.

Booked a 2c return flight to Glasgow and one to Liverpool myself.

    Hurray for Michael O'Leary.

But it does say that credit card handling fees will be applied. I know €12 or so is not alot and the flights are still are bargain at that, I just wish the website made it more clear about these additional charges so that people know exactly what they are paying. Still great deal for these flights.

The credit card handling fees are not applied. I paid 4 cent for return flights for two. You're looking at the wrong flights. Use the link given above.
