    Hi,

Ok, Im a 21 year old female. Very active, in regards to sports, don't use the gym altho I do have a treadmill at home and some dumbells - not used very often. I am 8 and a half stone and would like to gain some weight - say half a stone even. I want to do this in a healthy way obviously - thing is, my family are all "naturally" thin, I have a very small appetite and really just can't gain/lose weight... Any ideas? I know I should be bulking up on Carbs - bread, pasta etc, which I do, also take in alot fo dairy, it just the pure lack of a big appetite that kills em! I tend to eat small amounts but I eat regularly - Im always munching on friut or yogurt or something! Do eat some junk food but not a huge amount - I know what shealthy and whats not! Im stuyding it in college for heavens sake! But yet, I still struggle to gain weight! At this current time, I train/play sport for about 10-15 hrs a wk - playing badminton mainly so very fast game. Used to play ALOT more sports but had to cut back when I started college a few years back. I also used to hva ea really cool, very toned stomach - alas this is also fading now... :-(

Fairly healthy all in all - I just know I need to take in more but find that difficult!

For breakfast I have weetbix with all bran or maybe Alpen and all bran. Cup of tea or orange juice - depending on the weather! Usually some linseeds thrown in too is available! (I live at home - available food varies from wk to wk!lol)

Lunch - if in college - brown bread sandwich - usually ham, cheese, lettuce and sweetcorn. Maybe egg mayo and lettuce.

If not in college - usually something hot - like scrambled egg and toast or toasted ham and cheese sandwich, somthing along those lines.

Dinner - whatever meat - chicken quite alot for the protein, potatoes and usually at least one veg. I also eat alot of pasta, usually with tomato sauce, and maybe with chicken if possible. I would sometimes have pasta at night time too - purely for trying to gain weight! Kinda like a "second dinner"!

The rest of the days - yogurts, fruit, nuts, fruit juice (orange juice or cranberry juice)
