[REQ] Laptop GPS Solution

I've a laptop with bluetooth built in and I've a bluetooth GPS yokeymebob. Does anyone know what software I need in order to have a sat-nav system? Is running a pocket pc solution (or other platform) in an emulator an option?

I too would like to know of any free laptop gps software there is out there.
