I did my Powerboat Level 2 with www.powerboat.org based in Hodson Bay, Athlone. They cater from total beginner to training the professionals. Decent guys who I found very un-intimidating (I've about 10 years powerboat experience but needed the paperwork for cheap insurance)

If you're looking for more specific info ask on www.powerboat.ie/forums

Tip: Try to get 3 people together, this will fill the boat and you may get a discount... it's worth asking them

Check out the Bray Sailing Club web site, www.BraySailingClub.ie, as they run power boat courses throughout the year.
