If you are anywhere near Tallaght I would suggest giving Colm O'Reilly in Crossfit a call www.crossfit.ie

While not a gym buddy as you asked, there are classes which have a mix of people, a friendly atmosphere and that all important air of competition. Privates can also be arranged I think but. The competitive nature is great motivation and it is a fitness program sencond to none with all the right equipment.

well if you really are looking for someone to train with you may want to indicate what area you are in

YOu may also want to state what your current conditioning is. ie. how much can you lift, or what kind of exercses you want to do. your schedule, etc. I workout in Smithfield (1Escape)

    HI,
    thanks for the replies...

well I was looking for a gymm in CC or northside but most important is to try and get a buudddythat suits my timetable.

I'd be happy to train one or twice a week with a budy and other times my own since that would probably push me along. Sunday/Monday/Tuesady I am flexible with my times days or nights the rest of the week very restricted and usually not in Dublin.

As far as where I am now:

    6"2"
    14stone
probably bench around 60Kg but been at that for ages

Given the amount of powerlifters on here, we could probably increase your bench if you gave us your routine

Well I was really looking for a buddy to motivate and help on technique....

but my route is work out 5 time a week usually different part every day so the chest is

5 sets of bench press and usually do about 10 reps down to 8 reps
5 incline presses machine and free
    5 incline flyes

usually rest between sets is a minute ;)
