It is man but at 21stone I think you would really struggle. Walk before you try run if you get me.

Apparantly doing light cardio right before bed and then first thing when you wake up in the morning on an empty stomach is very effective.

HIIT's fine at 21 stone as long as it's done properly. It's doesn't mean that you have to pound a treadmill and damage joints - nor does it mean killing yourself either...I train cardic rehab patients exclusively with HIIT programs and they are all getting, slimmer, stronger and fitter. ;) If it's okay for them, and some of them are heavier than 21 st, then you should be fine.

In fact try this one out.....HIIT program, builds muscle quite quickly can be done anywhere and promotes the burning of sugar over fat and thus the reduction of fat stores cause they ain't needed no more.

    Try it out.

Here’s an expanded three day body weight program for you…cause I’m just great….

    Day 1: Lower Body:
    • Hindu Squats (2 sets)
    • Lunges (2 sets)
    • Jump Squats (2 sets)

Day 2: Abs and Lower Back:
    • Crunches (2 sets)
    • Leg Levers (2 sets)
    • Scissors (2 sets)

    Day 3: Upper Body:
    • Push Ups (2 sets)
    • Dips (2 sets)

Do as many as you can in good form of each exercise in the time specified. If you need to modify, do so, but try not to stop till the time is up. E.g. Push ups, full out proper style, then fatiguing drop to knees at inlcne, then box position etc.

See - no need for treadmills.

And light cardio is great exercise for the sole, but honestly it won't impact your physique in a substantial manner.
