Advice

    Folks,

I'm hoping to get some advice from people 'in the know' ;). I'm 5 10" and weigh 13.5 stone (86kg, 190lbs). I've put on almost two stone in the past 18months. I'm desperate to get it off, but get bored with the gym when I don't see results straight away.

Someone has mentioned HGH releasers, to cut body fat and build lean muscle, which would speed up the results gained from going the gym. How true is this?

The last time I went the gym it was for a 6week period about 4 times a week. Routine:

    Warn-up:
40 minutes thread (20mins fast walk and 20 fast jog)
    200 sit-ups once i've done the thread
100 reps on the pec machine (sorry don't know the official terms :o)

Advice would be greatly appreciated to help speed up the fat lose to build lean muscle.

    To drop fat sort diet.

Look at the stickies, if you have further questions post a days eating up and you'll get good feedback.

    Also,
Do some proper weights in the gym, 100 reps on a pec machine is doing nothing for you.
    200 sit-ups ain't doing much more.
Again, read the stickies for a proper routine, when you get bored of it in 6-8 weeks change it.

It's no wonder you get bored in the gym with a routine like that! You need more variety in order to work more muscles.

Drop the pec machine and sit-ups and concentrate on doing 8-10 reps 3 times for a range of different exercises (check the stickies for sample routines). But tbh if your diet isn't up to scratch, you may be wasting your time in the gym. Check the stickies for nutrition / diet info too.

    Thanks guys,

I know what stickies are, but I don't know where to find them on this board (sorry I'm new ;))

No problem. They are the top 5 or 6 posts in the forum (at the very top of the list) :) There's loads of info in them, so it may take a while to get through it all but it's worth it :)

    Good luck
