Training while travelling

Doubt this sort of topic has popped up before but if it has, I do apologise.

Basically, I'm off travelling for the next few months and money will be too scarce to be joining any gyms (plus I'll be on the move too much). So what can I do to get in shape for the football season (bearing in mind that it starts at the end of January, so I need to keep up while I'm off)? I've always wanted to do some HIIT but I'm not sure if I'm in the right condition to dive in and start that straight away - I haven't ran in a few months.

Also, I do some lifting here at home and would like to do some exercises to build some muscle - what's recommended? Press ups, bodyweight squats, sit ups...stuff like that?

    Thanks in advance.

If you have time to order this before you leave - it'll definitely be worth the 20 odd euro for it.

Any cross-fit WOD's can be done mostly with bodyweight.

Also look up interval, fartlek, or tabata running ... will really help your football endurance and fitness.

Won't have time to order that I'm afraid, but I have come across Ross Enamait before - Boru has pointed me in his direction.

You mention interval - Does that include HIIT?
