I've seen ladies often refer to their hubby/boyfriend as DH, on forums all over but am not sure what it stands for exactly?

    Here's my guesses so far:-

    Distinguished Half
    De Hubby (Darndale version)
    Dirty Half
    Durty Half (Darndale again)
    Devil Half
    Debetter Half
    Delicious Husband
    Delightful Husband
    Damn Husband

I could could go on all night and never hit the mark...

Can someone please enlighten me what "DH" means?

I always assumed it meant Dear/Darling Hubby.

It normally means "dear husband" or "darling husband" (although some posters may use it to mean "d1ckhead husband" if they're not in the best of humours with him!). On some forums a similar acronym is also used to refer to d'childer, as in DS (darling son) or DD (darling daughter). OH may also be used; as in "other half".

    HTH :p
