Without a shadow of a doubt, porbably the finest piece of glass Canon has made, and yes on a crop I would use it as there is nowhere in the church that the 24-70L would have any difficulty. :)

I got a fancy new bag that will hold all my stuff and I also got a new tripod so I don't have to use my dad's ancient 70s one. Never felt safe with my camera on that thing!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,200 ✭✭✭kensutz

I only treated myself to a battery grip. filters and reflector kits. Must pick up a flash and then this. Then maybe a 1Ds MK III*

Love it. Only new to this photography lark, but spent a lot of time reading about it the last few weeks. Got some great shots this morning. I like the way after one day I can do all sorts of depth of field messing and do slow shutter speeds.

Admittedly I don't have anything to compare it to. But I was really amazed at the quality of the shots.
The auto settings are really not up to much though.

who buys a dslr to use in auto mode lol! :D
