no reason to lock this one, dont worry ;)

a bus from trim sounds like a good idea, depending on where people are coming from you could possibly arrange to pick up people en route to help fill the bus

Wierd. I'm two weeks from moving back to Trim and this is happening. Excellent. I'll be in as of the 7th onwards.

Good man dex, theres a few others from trim too around, saw it on the airsoft census.

Yeah it makes me feel all warm and cuddly knowing I'm not the only nutcase in Trim anymore

Theres a difference between a nutcase and an airsofter!:D

The question is if you are already one, are you the other aswell?

Edit: check out the ms paint sig, snazzy...

Well I am both. Though anyone who knows me in Trim knows that already.

And if you really want snazzy, look at the stats on my sig. That's my broadband connection speed. That's right, it's 5 digits long. And it's gotten faster since then!

did ya know you can now get 20MB broad band now., now that would be cool.,

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,984 ✭✭✭NakedDex

Have you seen the price on it though? It's 160 bucks a month. Grand if you're in business but for home use it's a bit pricey. I like my 12Mb for now!

    One day though... terrabit broadband

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 11,001 ✭✭✭✭Masada

my bro in law has that 12mb., its pretty good huh,., england has way better speeds than us., but virgin media is comming over here and their like 30quid a month for 20mb.,

anyway, this is terribly off-topic, give the man his thread back

True masters use ms paint :p

Like a surgeon using a sharpened stick.

Anyhoo, I'm good for the weekend after new years, I'm definitely in.

And kd, do I have to reduce the size of the bleedin sig?

Ms paint is hardly the tool of the true master, like a surgeon using a sharpened stick..... :D

Edit: resize attempted, sort of right size now :)

Living Edenderry, Offaly, keep the jokes to a minimum please!!!;), I am hoping to be able to go to HRTA on the Sunday (at least for the first few months of next year, doing a course on Saturday's). I can swing by Trim, on to Navan etc on the days that I can go if that's any use. Saloon car so I can take 3-4 others.

I would be interested, for the weekend after new years.

Would be good to organise a bus still though, for every one on the route who may have a lot of gear and no car.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,984 ✭✭✭NakedDex

Yeah I'm in for sure for the 12th. Assuming I get my new SPR mags in time that is, though they should be here along with my new scope and bipod next week.

Failing that I'll at least bring my sub and pistol and have some fun.

leaving hrta at 6.00pm (18.00). be there or be square.
    cost depends on numbers

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 587 ✭✭✭c-90

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,984 ✭✭✭NakedDex

Ah sweet, I'd forgotten about this and was about to ask to borrow the mothers car to drive up. I'm still waiting on that scope and extra mags (Damn weird international holidays screwing delievery) so if they're here by Friday I'll be there with bells on.

Ok I'm confirming my attendance, 1, dex, 2, jimbob, 3

3 so far, whats the total cost jimbob?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 239 ✭✭Jimbobak47

theres 3 more comin as well and try n get the rest of the mabye ladsas well,
cost with present numbers will be 25€ steep i kno but the more the cheaper.
i dont care as long as i can go

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 294 ✭✭penguin-o7

so let me get this straight 6 + u. me depending on route= 25euro
how much is it the actual cost as in how much do we pay the company

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 239 ✭✭Jimbobak47

total cost is 150€. is the route trim - navan - ashbourne - swords ok? what do you suggest.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,758 ✭✭✭Stercus Accidit

Feck, come on trimmers and all meathers, pull the finger out!

I dont care as long as i get there.

Buss eireann alone is 11 for a student, and then you have added hassle getting to swords.

25€ is worth it, plus the craic on the bus and plenty of space for gear!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 239 ✭✭Jimbobak47

Good man motosam, thats the spirit

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,984 ✭✭✭NakedDex

I was gonna go depending on whether my SPR mags, scope and bipod arrived this week or my new G36 hop. But since neither arrived and tomorrows the last day, I'm cutting it close.

    Edit:
Smeg it, I'll bring the sub and the pistol if they don't arrive and go anyway. I need an outdoor game for a change, I haven't played one in almost a year

As long as you have comfortable boots you're fine. If I can find a spare chest rig I'll bring it for you.
