Looks good... but there have been rumours floating around that a D80x/D90 will be unveiled at PMA in January. Even if you don't want to buy it the D80's price should fall by quite a bit after its replacement in released.

    However it's just rumours...

I bought my 400d (with kit lens) and 75-300is and sppedlite and other bits from emily and lilly. I cant reccomend them enough, i even recieved a faulty lens and they replaced it for me and covered postage costs. You cant loose.

Shipping by couriour is via DHL so its about 2/3 days.

Actually: I bought a D80 for my friend a few days ago, i chose not to go to emily andlilly as that d80 was refurbished, but still a great price.

    yes, me too
I've got my wife's camera from them
    very helpful

    items are refurbished
so, expect a plain white or brown box (nowhere near the original box) and probably, as I've got, american plugs
and may be minor (very minor to be honest) blemishes on the actual items

not big deal, voltage is OK and you'll only need an adaptor

yeah thats true... if i remember right you really have to look through the listing to work out which it is. bought a refurb lumix there and have had no issues, perfect condition, wouldn't know it was a refurb apart from the sticker on the base and the way it was boxed

I've heard that they don't provide actual manufacturer warranties but honour the warranty on the item themselves. This might be a problem down the road.

so is there any uk dealer that does not selling refurbished camera? with very good feedback points. thx.........................!!!

    refurbished is not bad
same as new and a lot cheaper
can't see why not go for it unless you plan to give it as a gift (that white box does not look very nice for a gift)

If you are set on buying from E-bay I would look at some of the german retailers. Most of them have 100% positive feedback. I would not buy such an expensive item from a retailer that has less. 2% of their 30k customers were dissatisfied. Thats about 700 unhappy people
