I mean this in the best way, but bollocks on needing motivation - you want to lose weight, there's your motivation.

Focus on bodyparts you don't like and want to improve, take pics, and use them to drive you toward what you want.

No-one can make you do it, or can just produce results. At the end of the day, you either want it or you don't.

But best of luck buddy, the main people on here are amazing with advice and help, so use them too and you'll be sorted.

When you say reasonable what do you mean-cheap?
the reason why i ask is because if a personal trainer is cheap then there probably not very good, you get what you pay for. reasonable is getting a good service for the money provided..

Sorry i do not know of any trainers working on that side of the country.

There are plenty of trainers on the forum so post up your questions and join a gym asap

If you are that hard up for money just buy a set of weights and read the stickies and www.exrx.net

Walk to college, walk/cycle everywhere, cut down on your junk food and booze.

There is no secret a paid trainer is going to tell you. Find a mate to going you if you need motivation, or do some group activity in college, like join a walking club or team or something.

I don't think you need a personal trainer, especially if money is an issue. As cowzerp said, you get what you pay for and you're unlikely to get a top quality personal trainer at a very cheap price. You're better off investing in a gym membership, ideally one which allows you to use it on a pay-as-you-go basis.

I'd recommend you join a gym and do as many of their classes as possible. Classes like spinning and boxing circuits are great fun and you'll tend to push yourself much harder than you would if you were training on your own.
