I was just wondering if other people are having trouble ordering it off NTL.

None of their numbers are working and I was just wondering does anyone know if it can be ordered now or do I have to wait until later on?

I was actually planning on doing this myself so I'd be interested to hear other people's experiences. I know NTL tends to have a bad rep when it comes to ordering events.

After 30 minutes, I just got through now. Currently on hold listening to Handel. NTL sure like to make it hard work giving them money

The last three times a mate of mine tried ordering a PPV off NTL he couldn't get it. Two of those times he actually did make the order, the other time he couldn't get through all weekend. And he was charged one of the three times as well

I wouldn't rely on NTL for PPVs anymore, I'll be finding a house with Sky for tonight

ive been trying to order all afternoon but it sounds as if its engaged. ive sent 2 mails to customer support and sales but havent got a reply, i hope to god i get through. anyone kno whats up?

I just ordered it now. Just keep trying all the numbers till you get a line. And then be ready to play the waiting game.

I just ordered it now. The guy said there's over 700+ on hold for the fight.

Got it as well, took a while to get through, but the wait on hold was only about 5 minutes. Was told it was on channel 861 though...

I was just going to borrow one of those ‘boxes’ but decided to play it safe and just pay for it.
Could ya imagine if the box was scrambled during the fight??

The main fight starts between 04:00-04:30 , but I suggest you have a look at the big day for boxing thread we have and try to catch some of the other fights , because there are some real corkers on tonight .

once you have regular NTL Digital I'm sure you can get it. All that i have thats different is the sports package.

finally got it, actually connected 3 times but cut off twice - only on hold for 20-30 seconds once i got through.

ive managed to to get through to ntl twice now, but i keep being cut off. the rest of the time its busy. Ntl seriously blows, I wonder how long they keep their lines open?

Oh yeah, for those who have ordered the fight with ntl, do ya have to give them credit card details?

got through again... it says to press 1 for the fight.... duly done.

What then follows is continuous ringing, before being cut off. B*llox. Third time wasnt a charm.

that happened to me twice rui - it'll all work out in the end! it told me to press 7 for the hatton fight though, weird enough - also they must be outsourcing the call centre because some indian bloke was signing me up!

simon, u dialled the 1908 number and got through, i finally got through to that one now, and it told me to press 7. Sounded more promising, but no dice in the end.

I didn't have my account number handy but the bloke was sound enough to turn it on anyways.
Do anyone know what time the call centre closes at? Just incase it gets cut off or something, can never be to carefull with NTL.

Wouldn't worry to much about that, Took nearly an hour after i ordered it for the channel to unscramble.
It's just the backlog.

****ing useless. Been trying for 2 hours now and got a line 4 times. Dial 7. Enter phone number. Get ringing tone. Then.....5 mins of ringing and get cut off. Fcukers. The wireless phone's gonna run out of juice soon.

Try 1890940625 I got through on this every time don't bother with 1908 or 1890940624. They never activated it earlier in the week just as well I rang again.

Just got through now, on hold for last 5 minutes or so.

Is the unscrambling of the channel instantaneous or does it take a while to come through?

EDIT: Generic american woman just told me that the number I have been dialling is not recognised.

@juncopartner. As in the boxing coverage showing up, at the moment thers just an info box the same as yours.

Just got thru on 1908 and was in the queue when I was cut off with a message telling me that the call centre shuts at 10 and is now closed.......however just on hold on the number that Redwest gave.
