    Hello Everyone,

I need your help for two mins!

Below are four questions that I need 20 people to reply to for a college project I'm doing. The project is to develop a new 'on-the-go' food product to rival what is available at the moment.

Think of an 'on-the-go' product as any prepacked sandwich wrap, snack etc. that is already prepared and ready to eat immediately (this could also include fruit - it doesn't need to be something processed).

    I really appreciate your help!

    The Questions:

    1. How many times per week do you buy an on-the-go food product?

    2. What kind of on-the-go product do you normally buy?

    3. What would you like to see more of on the shelves of your local shop? (yes I am sneakily looking for ideassmile_wink.gif)

    4. Which two of these is most important in your choice of an on-the-go food product?
    TASTE
    PRICE
    MADE IN IRELAND
    HEALTH (general)
HEALTH (specific eg. guten free, suitable for diabetic etc.)

    thank you!!!!

    1. I don't buy things like that. The nearest thing to an On-the-go product I'd buy is a tub of cottage cheese.

    2. Cottage cheese. Possibly a packet of chicken breast, but I don't like deli meat.

    3. I would buy hard boiled egg. One of the things I love about being abroad is that you can get a cold boiled egg as a snack almost everywhere.

    4. Health first, price second.

1: I'm not sure exactly what you mean, but I'm assuming it's ready made sandwiches and stuff like that? I very rarely buy them, maybe once a month, if even.

2:Something that doesn't have mayonnaise, all the damn freshways stuff has mayonnaise in it. A wrap with chicken and no mayonnaise would be what I'd buy. Or the chicken bacon caesar salad tubs from doolittle's i think, they're tasty and have a decent bit of protein in them.

3:Less wraps and sandwiches with mayonnaise in them, seriously, what's wrong with some butter! More meat in them i.e more protein. More ready made salads with meat.

4: Health - specifically decent amounts of protein in things, I could care less about the carb or fat content.
    Price.

How many times per week do you buy an on-the-go food product?
    Maybe twice a week

    2. What kind of on-the-go product do you normally buy? Soup, pre-packed fruit, hoummous, the odd salad

    3. What would you like to see more of on the shelves of your local shop? Decent soup with as little salt as possible, more imaginative salads minus the little sachet of dressing

    4. Which two of these is most important in your choice of an on-the-go food product?
    Health and taste

    1. used to be 5 days a week. Copped on the spar near me had cooked chicken fillet in the salad section, all I got was chicken fillet. Now I just cook fresh in work

    2. Meat and maybe a little cheese, no bread. Roast beef, ham, turkey, chicken fillet. I can guage my calorific intake easily from the weight, and I have no idea what is in loose rolls or unmarked sauces.

    3. Branded ingredients with nutritional info. And wholemeal products. I think it is bizarre that brands are not jumping on the wholegrain market. Only a few pizzas have it, now donegal catch have it. I do not trust unlabelled "brown bread". And I especially like a no/low carb option. Most places force you to get carbs in, with sambos, or burgers. Chinese places include chips/rice/noodles. I would rather have an option without or with extra non-carb foods, i.e. bigger portion of stir fry for the same price without noodles. Grilled chicken in mcdonalds with maybe more salad instead of throwing away the bun, or being charged for it after asking them to omit it.

    4. Health (low carb, low calorie, high protein) & price.
Taste does not come into it much, if I know I am going somewhere that I am doubtful of getting something tasty I simply bring it myself.

    1. About once or twice.

    2. A meat-free wrap or a brownbread salad sambo... with tuna or prawn or salmon.

    3. Wholemeal wraps. Hummous falafel wraps. Organic if possible.

    4. Health.
