Tactical Night Mod beta :)

I finally managed to put together a "night-like" cod4 mod ;D

Server is running here: 89.234.66.114:28961 (unranked unfortunetly for now)

The mod which is server-side only*** also includes:

• Limited weapons/perks

Working NV Goggles

• Class limited to Assault/Specs Ops

• Forces silencer on all weapons

• Auto-assign mode only

• No Fx (fire mostly)

• No background sounds (or less anyways )

• Some custom text (not finished yet, displays at every spawn :-[)

Here's some screenshots of mp_bog & mp_overgrown (the mod works on all stock maps)

*** Edit: There is now a small download to mod weapons for LaserSight when NV are on.

God this looks good! I haven't played the game yet though so I can't tell you how it compares to the original... But it looks good to me!

My MoBo fried a few months ago and never got around to replacing it... Until this week! Got me a new MoBo (Asus Asus P5N-E SLI), new Processor (Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.4GHz), 2GB of RAM and a new XFX Alpha Dog Nvidia 8800GT Extreme Version 512MB!

Can't wait to have all this running!

But I'm worried about playing online. I moved out last week-end so I lost my Magnet connection and I now have NTL... NTL and Gaming doesn't sound like a good mix... Because it's not!

Had a quick run on it, well done. Seems to slow the game way down and make it far more tactical, hats off to you.
