An angle grinder which promptly joined all the other tools in the purchasers shed.
Every year my sister buys me buckets and buckets of make up. I don't like make up. It has got to the stage where I am really disappointed now and we have a spat and she says she'll never buy me anything again.
For my birthday this year she bought me tonnes of make up.

Got a big Airfix boat off my great uncle. Was a huge thing, real complicated, with tonnes of tiny little fiddely bits. So yea, a great present for a 7 year old... Parents wouldnt let me even open it.

Found it a few years later and prompty destroyed the living room settee trying to make it :p

My sister got me this tub of bubble-bath that turns the water red and makes it look like blood when I was about fourteen. It had been literally years since I had taken a bath, having long since moved on to showers. Why did she think I would want this?!? That was pretty bad.
Another year, she got me a table tennis set (net, paddles and ball). I have always hated table tennis, as I had told her a million times. I gave it straight back to her and told her I didn't want it.
My other sister gave me a Mach 3 in Christmas '05. Sounds okay, right? Two problems:
    1. I already had one! I had tons of spare blades too.
    2. I have a beard. I trim the stubble around my neck about twice a week, so a blade last me about two months.
The last thing I needed was a new Mach 3.

People say it is the thought that counts. I agree fully with that statement. No thought went into any of those presents.

I gave my brother a shaving brush one year so that he'd stop using mine. He wasn't impressed.

Then the next year my girlfriend at the time gave me a new shaving brush. And I knew why my brother hadn't been impressed.

I got a crucifix one year - always a welcome present for atheists...

I wouldn't have minded quite so much but it was one the ugliest things I have ever seen - it looked like a plastic baby doll which had been nailed to a bit of spare 2X4....hideous looking thing!

For second there I though you were implying your brother was sleeping with your girlfriend and he had given her the shaving brush to give to you?

Worst present I ever got was a box of bic biros from my brother. Worst part was they were green, nobody uses green!

A friend of mine once went on a bender and blew his present fund.
