If you can get at them, usually the Local Authority, County Council etc.

Skerries is public. I think that there is a public slip in Howth - and probably the others too.

The Club certainly has one, but I think that there are a couple of others - not sure of their condition.

Two slips in Howth. The lifeboat one is public although blocking it is frowned upon. Local council own it and it is halfway up the middle pier in howth. The other goes into the marina and is not acessible at low water.

Skerries is public and acessible at most stages of tide although you may have trouble at springs. Also watch for rocks around this one go straight out to the marker keeping it to starboard on the way out.

These are the two most commonly used public ones on the northside and are well looked after. There are other slips all over the place but can be difficult to acess and may not be in the best of repair.

Lots of info in the irish cruising club pilot book about public slips local hazards etc.

You could also ask over at the forums at Club Powerboat.ie. www.powerboat.ie/forums .

I'm obviously based in the West so can't answer you, but there is a sizeable group in CPB who are based and launch in North Dublin.
