    Folks,

I went over on my ankle playing astro turf about 2 weeks ago. I have played on it since but my ankle is really sore, Im walking with a limp. I might have damaged the ligaments but Im not sure. I started using Tiger Balm on it but Im wondering is there anything else I can do to help with the recovery?

If you are still walking with a limp I would advice going to see the physio. It could be a couple of other things apart from ligaments. Plenty of bones in the foot to break. is it still swollen???

Thats the thing, its not swollen at all. Just sore to walk on. Pain is more on the outer side of the ankle and kind of radiates about an inch about the ankle.

Get it checked out. Xray or physio. You run the risk of repetive injury if you dont get it dealt with correctly. bad ankles is something you want to avoid.

One of the lads on my team broke a small bone near ankle. No swelling. Told to rest it for three to four weeks. he got an xray.. Go see physio.
