Diet

    Ok folks, Im starting to get back on track with the old fitness and am looking to revamp the diet to help lose some of the gut and put on some size. My wedding is 8 months away so I have some work to do. Im 30, 5ft 7 and 11 Stone. BF is about 20%. My diet is as follows:

    Breakfast - 7am
    2 Weetabix, Lecithen with Soya Milk
    I Banana
    1 Mandarin
    1 Actimel

    Snack - 10.30am
    2 slices of McCambridges brown bread

    Lunch - 12.30pm
    Either a brown wholemeal sandwich with salad and Tuna, or chicken breast.

    Dinner - 6pm
    Usual meat and Veg, or pasta or fish.

    Thats about it. I have protein stuff at the house as well that I bought off Jon so I need to start talking that. But when should I take it?

    Hey Shane,
    Im hitting the gym 3 times a week, as well as doing Karate on a Monday and Astro Turf on a Tuesday. Exercises are broken into 3 days:
    Chest\Tris
    Shoulders\Back
    Legs\Bi's

    Abs are also hit during these days.

    I'd say have the shake at breakfast and get some protein with the Brown bread at 10:30 am.

    You need more good fat too, throw some olive or nut oil etc. on the salads and veg.

    Howdy, congrats on the impending nupitals. Try to get whole protein with every meal. So breakfast and snack are esp lacking in this regard. Portion size is another thing that you need to watch esp grains like pasta etc
