Ok so I've always had a Tomtom ONE V2 and have bought a larger memory stick and upgraded the Western European maps as they came out. My old man has hinted on a GPS for Xmas so I was thinking of getting the 520, a larger memory stick and throwing on the European maps.

Here's my question, if I throw on the best Irish maps (6.75 or whatever version they are), will his work seeing as now they use "TomTom Map Share™ technology ".

Does anyone know if the file format on the SD card is the same as on the old models?

    Cheers,
    Steve
