    I'd echo colm's request.

Diet is the key factor in shifting stubborn fat for most people that are exercising well......but....I'll say this much....it's the last thing to go. I'm now around 62KG (i.e. I'm skinny as hell by most peoples standards) and I only lost my spare tire completely at around 64KG (coming down from around 75 ish). Everything else was well defined at 66 - 68KG and my stomach muscles were in good shape....just covered with that poxy layer of fat at the time. :)

Hehe. I'm just short of 5' 8". It's the Muay Thai that has me this lean tbh. It really shifts the fat.

Wow, I thought that when I was skinny at 67kg & 5' 7'' over the summer. Are you muscley skinny then from the MT or just skinny?

Eh...I'd say I'm muscley skinny from the MT and associated (non-class) training at this stage. I suppose you'd need to see me to make your own mind up.

You might need a change in the gym to kick start you again. I plateaued after doing only cardio (not in a gym, cycling). Then started weights and shed again. Now at 5'11'' ~12 stone I have a small gut to get rid of. I am on ~2000kcal a day, I would be happy staying at 12stone, i.e. maybe loose 7lb fat, gain 7lb more muscle.

sorry for the delay in getting back. diet is pretty good lots of fruit, chicken & veg. prob too many spuds though and wholemeal bread(eat these practically every day), only take low fat dairy products and only a couple of pints on a sat night.

    regime
    2 * 30 min cardio each week
    3 * 30 situps each week
3 * 20 reps on almost every machine in the gym each week(there is about 10 machines)

    thanks

Ditch the situps and machines. Time is far more efficiently spent doing other exercises, and machines do not work your muscles as well as free weights will.

I would recommend deadlifts, squats, standing military press, bench press, dips, pullups, chinups, bent over rows.

    Check www.exrx.net

I think many people use expensive looking machines in gyms to feel they are getting value for money.

Instead of situps I do leg raises on a chinning bar, or do them at the same time as my chinups. Squats also work the abs.
