MP5K+UMP stock = MP5 'Escort' PDW

Got all the pieces through and finally modified my K by adding a UMP style stock. Saw a real steel version in use and thought it was an awesome looking bit of kit and very practical for certain roles. Makes the K a lot easier to handle.

Nice one. How'd you get the stock to stay in place when folded?

There's a small catch/hook/notch thingy on it which allows it to hold in place.
(Excuse the extremelty poor quality pics but my camera's sick.)

Also, for you southpaws, the stock doesn't lay flush to the receiver and theres a gap of about 1/2-1", plenty to get your thumb to the selector.

Ahhh ok just I have a G36C and it needs a little hook on the body to stay closed

thats looks way cool....great skill as well dude...very impressive...i seem to recall some people on arnies not having much luck doing this, so you might have a lot of people wanting to be your best friend over there!!!
