Snoopy filled me in on some interesting hands, one of them involving the exit of blonde's own Luckylloyd.

After Snoopy took some chips off him, sneakily river check raising his turned set of Kings vs Lloyd's rivered set of Jacks, Lloyd re-raised allin on a Two Clubs board. Conor Doyle told Lloyd, "I think you've got a flush draw" and after vacillating for a while eventually called the extra 6k or so with bottom pair two spades . Now THAT's a brave call!

He was correct Lloyd did have the flush draw, but that's not all. Holding for top pair to go with his nut flush draw he had Conor drawing very thin. But poker being poker, almost anything can happen and an offsuit 2 on the river to give Conor trips sent a highly disgruntled Lloyd to the rail.

Breaking for the night. Theres 157 left i think with average about 25k. I've played so bad the last hour and dropped from 60k to 37k coming back tomorrow. Quality of play is not bad at my table and theres plenty of big staclks so hoping tomorrow goes well.

Conor Doyle gets moved to our table at turn of 100 / 200 level. 10 mins in he has played 2 of 4 hands. I have 8k in chips after a tough few hours.

Preflop:

Bad player limps UTG; Conor makes it 600 next to act. Folds to me in the CO and I call Ac9c?? Big blind calls; UTG limper calls.

Flop (2500):

AhQc2c

Sweet. Check, check, Conor takes 10 seconds and bets 1400. I take 10 seconds and ship for 7400. Fold, fold. 6k to him for the call.

He tanks for about 2 mins and then goes:

"Do you want me to call?"

I say:

"It's your decision."


We go like this for a while with him asking me if I want a double up. As we continue I am visibly relaxing as I figure I am most likely good. Then he says:

"I have 2s3s - I think you have the King high draw because you are ****ting it."

I'm like - "no wai".

He's like: "yes wai".

And I go: "I don't care if you call or not being honest".

He calls and ACTUALLY shows 2s3s.

Went out in level 6 to quad tens - I played the hand terribly:o, probably cause I was so tired due to having to get up at 5 in the morning. It was pretty heart breaking ofr me as I had slowly built back up to 22k after losing over two thirds of my stack to KP after 20 minutes.

Great tournament, good luck to all left in. Looking forward to some cash action tonight.

Busted in 55th or so after enduring the worst 15 hours of card dead **** ever, every level was a struggle. The amount of complete tards left with loads of chips is unreal.

Flushdraw was going strong when i left and was playing very well, Norwich Fan Rob, The Rigger and Nicnicnic were also still in.
