Ring them and order with your credit card or send someone in to get what ever it is for you.

Or maybe one of us can have a look and report back.

Will they will take credit cards in a liquidation sale? Wouldn't imagine they would deliver anyway.

No. They can be honoured at any other Nevada Bobs.

    Cash is the best currency

Can I use the vouchers before next thursday or is the store closed till then? The nearest store is in Laois according to the nevada bobs website.

No. The store is closed. The vouchers are not redeemable in the dublin store. not sure where the nearest store to that is though

Are you working for the Liquidator or Nevada's Antomadness?

Just rang the UK Customer service number, they aren't aware that Dublin is closing, odd.

Just wonder if the locals have paid up the royalties...

No real wonder it didn't do well when you consider where it was located. It was very hard to find.

Anto, are you open late night Thursday, Saturdays and Sundays?

Do you have any idea what the reduction usually is? A % or something? I would have thought another Nevada Bobs would take it off your hands.

I take you'll take Laser then if you take CC?

    Apologies for all the questions!

Whip it: Its just north of the KCR. Go though Harolds X heading south, veer right at the park and then its the last right (I think) before KCR. Ind. estate is on your right.

Wont be open late night on evenings im afraid. it opens at 10am and closes at 6. I realise this may be tough for people to get to from work. but you havr all day Saturday and sunday.
Please note this may not stay open for the entire 10 days. all the stock may be sold after the first weekend. 1st come 1st served.
Still havent got confirmation on the credit cards, although i presume there will be a facility in place, awaiting confirmation form the bank. NO CASH BACK ON LAZER CARD. Cash is the best option

Anyone got any REALY CLEAR instructions on where it is? Tried to get there on two occasions over the last few years when coming into Dublin from the M50 and gave up both times in frustration (the second time I had a map, instructions from boards, internet map with it marked.... spent an hour driving around in circles).

Not familiar with the general area, but normally good to find my way.

  • Subscribers Posts: 16,617 ✭✭✭✭copacetic

come off m50 at tallaght and head toward dublin, turn left at templeville road, which is the turn before bushy park, go right at the first roundabout, go straight on and through the kimmage cross roads, take the next left, this is ravensdale park, the entrance to the industrial estate is 150 yards or so up on the right. Nevada bods is toward the back of the estate. you should easily be able to find it from googlemaps based on that.

Went to Kimmage Industrial Estate yesterday to find out where this place was and was hoping for a quick look about the shop. Spoke to the security guard on the gate and he said no-one has come to open up nevada bobs in the last 3 weeks.

I'm hoping there are some good deals, Ive been to other so called 'liquidation' sales before and was very disappointed by the offers. If there are no 75% reductions I'll not be a happy camper ;)

(BTW, I think it's worth checking out the clearance deals on the nevada bobs uk website and then converting to euro, just to make a comparison of the deals on the day.

I have to say the lack of any solid information on the deals is distinctly worrying.
    "Hopefully" you will be happy
"Hopefully" you will get good deals.

I won't be going for one. I too have been to "liquidation" sales and been surprised at the (high) prices.

The liquidator must be working from some sort of price list that they are going to sell from. How about posting a sample Automadness, its hardly Stock Exchange insider dealing territory

Hey guys, if anyone gets a chance to visit Nevadas todays, please update us on whats on offer and what kind of clubs are available and at what price. I'm thinking of buying a new set of irons so any update would be appreciated.
    Cheers

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,411 ✭✭✭stooge

just back, I arrived around 10.30 and there was a load of stuff already gone. Was looking for a good stand bag and a set of irons. No good bags left but plenty of irons:

50% off everything apart from clubs (irons/drivers/putters).
Basically if you like a set of irons you make them an offer. Theyre looking for around 60-70% of original value for the good brands e.g. ping/callaway. You might get lesser brands for less.

It's a good sale but most of the stuff is now gone. Dont think there will be much left by the end of the day.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 60 ✭✭col123

are there many people at the store shopping or was the stuff gone before they opened

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,411 ✭✭✭stooge

im not sure how many people were there when it opened but there was constantly about 50-60 people in the shop the whole time I was there.

As I was arriving I saw a fella leaving with about 20 shirts/jackets etc and 2 RAILS of golf gloves (about 40 pairs). Obviously looking to sell them on.

I'd say the first few people in the doors knew what they wanted.

wow:eek: i might skip it then, thanks for the quick responce
