Does anybody know when home tickets for this game go on sale,or if they are on sale already?

I'd love to know as I was at the Leicster game and thought it was brilliant.

On another note did anybody see Shaggy's hit on Tuilagi? Its the best I've seen him play in a long time.

season ticket holders will probably expect an email 3 weeks before hand with a ticketmaster link.

How did you get your tickets for the Leicester game ?

I doubt the French will travel in numbers, but there will be a lot of interest, especially if we do the business this weekend.

I got a package with the tickets for the Leicster and Connacht games from the Leinster website.I was just lucky at the time,I was having a look the week the tickets went on sale and was able to buy them straight away.

But I thought I could find out the dates they went on sale to save me having to check every day.If anyone finds out could they let me know?

    Thanks,Ronan

SKY are not covering the match, only Canal+ in France, presumably because it is on at 8pm on Sunday evening.
Does that not make it easier for RTE to pick up the feed???
Is there a "highlights" programme on RTE late on Sunday ???

There's some misinformation going round that they weren't going to be showing the French games, due to it not being in some schedule or something, but they certainly will be showing the Toulouse v Leinster game.

Damn...looks like sky aren't covering the match. But Sky advertised it after last weekends games....

No one thought of checking the Leinster site?

The leinster site is old and they do get things wrong quite often. (Edinburgh game dates for example).

The ECR site has it as Canal+ only.

This is such crap. Not only do we have to pay to see the games now but Sky aren't even showing this game at all.

Season ticket holders will tear a ticket out of their season ticket book :)

All leinster games are sold on ticketmaster, but if you want a heads up first about stuff like this then join leinsterfans.com

I suppose the smartest thing to do really would be to check the SkySports official TV listings for the day http://www.skysports.com/tv_guide/0,19953,11061_18-11-07,00.html. Coverage starts at 7.30. Panic over. Jesus lads you nearly gave me a heart attack there. ****in indo.

With a 21:00 hrs (local time) start it was always going to be on Sky, I'd guess that was the reason for the late start.

BTE, the ERC should get a kick in the ass for allowing a kick-off time like this on a Sunday evening, it's ok on a Friday is almost acceptable on a Saturday but for fans a late kick-off on a Sunday is a disgrace.

    From rte.ie: - http://www.rte.ie/sport/rugby/2007/1115/heinekencuproundtwo.html (bottom of page).

NB: Rugby supporters should note that contrary to a story printed in a national newspaper on Thursday, Toulouse v Leinster will be shown live on TV in the UK and Ireland in the usual way.

Leinster as blunt as a hammer tonight never looked liked scoring and knows the critics can emerge to question whether the centre partnership of BOD and D'arc is the best in the world because again its been put in serious doubt tonight.

On another note i wouldn't be surprised if thats the last kick off at 9.00 there will be in this competition with that amount of injuries, someones gotta file a complaint

Jesus Horgan couldn't buy a pass out there.

very dissapointed with the decision making in last few minutes, when we make stuart barnes look like he is talking sense you know it was idiotic running out from own 22 with nothing to play for. Giving up such a soft bonus point try was hard to take.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,958 ✭✭✭✭RuggieBear

    some serious injuries too.

Could have a huge bearing on the rest of the season for us.

Willis has potential but he can be very wayward with his passing.

Oh well...Looks like leinster will win all the home games and lose all the away ones this Hcup season.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,601 ✭✭✭Marshy

Leinster really were a shambles in the second half after defending admirably in the first. Toulouse showed what they can do if you give them space and make errors.

They didn't make any effort to prevent Toulouse getting the BP either. They tried running it from their own 22, real stupidity there. Not a game they'll want to be reminded of at all.

Toulouse seemed to show their potential in parts. They've got so many quality internationals in the 22.

I agree about the kick off time being wierd, but that rubbish that the kick off time affected injuries,do you think whitikers knee and dempseys ankle would have been ok if the match had kicked off at 3?:)the cold might affect hamstrings but not twisted knee's and ankles

What an inept and naieve 40 mins of rugby. I love how leinster play but sometimes, especially away from home, you just have to kick the ball. Instead of running and consistantly losing ground or turning the ball over. After building us up last week too. They are probably having a good laugh down in Limerick.

Three reasons why Leinster lost last night.
    1) Contepomi wasn't at the races
    2) At least five poor decisions/errors
    3) Chris Whyte missed numerous dodgy lineout throws/forward passes/holding on/high tackles. Thanks Chris

Interesting - they were saying on the radio that a huge proportion of the decisions were going Leinsters way, and at times the home crowd were booing him off the pitch for over 2 minutes...

So they lost because of the ref? What a load of tosh. Leinster were completely outclassed by Tolouse.

Was not able to catch the match so went to great pains to hide until the RTE broadcast. So dissapointed. What a poor show it seemed !

Who made the call to run for the BP losing try?

I heard Toulose made 11 changes from the Edinburgh squad, was this true?

How can a team have the deoth to do this? dollars I guess !

Absolute sterotypical jeckyl and Hyde lack of consistency Leinster, they will never shake this monkey off their back and BOD possibly will retire as one of the best players never to do squat in his career !

Toulouse were in a different class for 35/40 minutes last night. Once into their groove before their home crowd pretty irresistible. No reason why Leinster can't beat them at home though as they are the classic schizophrenic French outfit on the road.

Toulouse strength in depth utterly astonishing though...also thought that Leinster commited way too many basic handling errors, maybe hung over from Leicester? No need to commit hari kiri just yet though. Oh and Chris White is a mong, utterly conservative, favours the defensive team 9 times out of ten...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,198 ✭✭✭✭Crash

    woeful linesmen by the way.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,747 ✭✭✭MikeHoncho

    Horgan Hands!!!!

Seriously he was brutal last night. Contepomi not there either and Whitaker going off turned out to be a big blow as Willis is too light weight. He was passing the ball to Contepomi's head which was giving Toulouse an extra second or 2 to get up in our faces. First half performance was admirable but poor decision making on the pitch has once again been the death of us.

Toulouse are a really class outfit though the strength in depth they have is just amazing. Thought Heymans was fantastic.

as bad as it was I can still see Leinster beating them at home. I would be concerned about the bonus point though

You don't see many complaints about poor refeering when the team you follow wins. Toulouse simply outclassed Leinster.

so the leinster boys are blaming chris white for their loss. the man is regarded as the best referee in the world lads, he doesn't miss much and he doesn't make many big mistakes. in fact the only one that comes to mind is the wales italy game in the 6 nations this year. ollie le roux was shocking, the leinster scrum was completely dominated, the forwards were hammered by their french counterparts and the leinster backs were outclassed. don't forget ye still have to go to welford road and edinburgh, neither are easy places to get a win.

Hopefully now people will just relise he's fat git and has a very bad scrum technique. He's the Matt Dunning of SA and now Leinster.

ANy updates on the injuries anyone?

If you think the ref had anything remotely to do with Leinster losing then you were watching a different game I'm afraid.

Accept that Leinster were very very poor, in the 2nd half especially and move on. At least BOD seemed to acknowledge this fact in his interview. The truth is no team will ever improve unless they address their shortcomings.

Of course I do not blame the referee for Leinster losing. Having said that I thought some of the decision making was woeful. Toulouse threw at least three blatantly obvious crooked lineout throws. There were at least two high takles on Leinster players. The pass for the BP try was forward.

Despite the above, i think leinster deserved to lose but not by 27 points. I ddnt think Toulouse were that great except for a couple of flashes from rougerie, clerc and poitrenaud.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,187 ✭✭✭✭Sangre

Thought White was terrible, not to the favour of any side though.

Leinster were shockingly poor in the 2nd half. Refused to kick with the wind behind them and just kept trying to get width on the ball despite the fact that Toulouse were committing no one to the rucks.

heard that whitaker has broken his leg and dusetoir is being cited for his tackle,i think this will present REAL problems for us,if girv or darce were out for that long kearney and fitzgerald could fill in,but willis(think thats his name) seems rubbish, maybe it was just nerves but i could pass the ball better than the way he was passing, people are talking about the fowards not doing the business, even when they did he was throwing wild passes and in turn made the backs lose any momentium they may have had,i honestly think this injury will single handedly destroy our heineken cup chances,
and also le roux looked quite good at the start but why is no one telling him how to bind,he obviously has the weight and strenght but his binding is ridiculous and he is costing us more than giving at this early stage,if he is coaching healy as ive heard,we may be in big trouble for our future props,i dont understand, your never to old to learn :)

he broke his ankle by all accounts, but how could you cite for the tackle? He tackled him and landed on his ankle in the process, nothing wrong with it. Don't believe that is true, got a link?
